Spirit Duplicator on Wikipedia. I had always thought that the "Ditto Machine"* was the same as a mimeograph, but, in fact they are distinct processes. The Ditto machine smells better, for one thing.
(Younger readers can go back to text messaging and playing Wii, or whatever the hell it is you do, and excuse the interruption)
*actually, I had totally forgotten the name "Ditto Machine" until I started looking this stuff up, but the smell is burned into my brain. The whole thing started with me wishing that fortune cookie fortunes were still made on mimeographs,rather than offset printed.
